Our Story
The Elevation Med Prep team has a simple but ambitious social mission: to make medical school admissions consulting accessible to everyone—regardless of their socioeconomic status. Our model couples 1-on-1 mentorship with AI tools. The knowledge and technology behind these tools have been supported by VentureWell, the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking, and Yale Law School's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Clinic. Elevation Med Prep was founded by Brendan Adkinson, an MD-PhD candidate at the Yale School of Medicine whose research focuses on the ethical use of AI in medicine. Originally from rural Ohio, Brendan and his brother are the first in their family to go into medicine.
